Thank you for visiting my site.  I am an experienced, passionate practitioner committed to fully supporting you on your personal healing journey.  As a licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and a Reiki Master Teacher, I offer a variety of services to help you meet your wellness goals. 
 
My unique approach to well-being combines the ancient practice of Yoga with traditional Physical Therapy techniques and is infused with the energy of the Japanese system of Reiki.   Together, these complementary healing arts can restore freedom of movement and promote healing, even in cases where conventional methods may have failed.  
 
I will focus on finding the source of your pain or dysfunction and will partner with you to unlock the doors to your healing.  Together we will identify postural imbalances, faulty patterns of movement, energy blockages, stressors, and habits that contribute to your symptoms.  Your treatment program will be customized to fit you perfectly and will bring you a greater understanding and awareness of your body.
 
This holistic approach to treatment can benefit you if your goal is: 
•   to find relief from pain, whether it is acute or chronic nagging pain
•   to improve posture, strength and flexibility
•   to enhance performance in sports or work activity
•   to improve ease and freedom of everyday function

What if I can't do yoga?
No yoga experience is necessary, nor is there any reason to be fearful of this alternative approach.  The practice of yoga extends far beyond what comes to mind when one imagines a strong flexible yogi.  Physical postures that challenge flexibility, strength and balance are one small part of a yoga practice. Yoga is also practiced in something as simple as consciously correcting your posture, being mindful in your movement, or in breathing more fully to relax the mind and body. Yoga meets you exactly where you are, regardless of age or fitness level.  Through the practice of yoga, we find balance between the mind, body, and spirit. It is a beautiful complement to skilled physical therapy.
